Massimiliano Claps is a research director with Gartner, where he is responsible for government end-user research. Philippe Agard is Vice President of Smart Communities Markets in Alcatel-Lucent’s Services Group, a position he has held since 2006. Philippe has spent his entire career within Alcatel and Alcatel-Lucent, and his previous roles have been as Vice President of Alcatel's Airport Vertical Market (2005), Director 3G Reality Center and Partner Program within the Mobile Solution Division (2003 to 2005), Director of Incubators and Ventures Funds within the Research and Innovation Department (2001 to 2003), Senior Manager in the Trade and Project Finance Department at Head Quarters (1996 to 2001).
He has previous operational experience with the Mobile communication group in a tender and network play role, including a network roll out project based in Indonesia.
Philippe graduated from the Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité (Supélec) in France, with one year at Imperial College (London) and a Diploma of Advanced Studies (DEA) from Dauphine, Paris.
