Ivailo Gospodinov is a Managing partner of Entrea Capital. He has more than 10 years of M&A experience in numerous sell- and buy-side mandates, as well as a long corporate finance and audit experience.
Prior to joining Entrea Capital in 2013, Ivailo spent more than 8 years of M&A experience in Raiffeisen Investment, where he was a Managing Director for Bulgaria. There, he has been involved in a number of transactions, advising both large corporates and financial investors. He has lead the closing of more than 10 deals in the last few years, including one of the largest transactions on the Bulgarian market, such as the €1.1bn AIG acquisition of BTC from Novator in 2007 and the €230m Contour Global acquisition of TPP Maritsa East III from Enel.
Prior to that he was also a Director of Corporate Finance at Forem Consulting, where he was actively involved in a variety of sell and buy side mandates, as well as privatisations. Ivailo also spent 9 years at Andersen and E&Y as an Audit Manager leading the audits of a range of large companies.
Ivailo holds a BA in Business Administration from Portsmouth University and has successfully completed all ACCA exams.
Ivailo likes to play football and volleyball in his leisure time. He also loves hiking in the summer and skiing in the winter.
Julian Gikov is Managing Director of Raiffeisen Investment Bulgaria, where he is involved in M&A consulting in Bulgaria and the CEE region. Since joining in 2008 he has worked as adviser on numerous large international M&A transactions – many of those jointly executed with Lazard. He has extensive investment banking experience in the energy, telecommunications, heavy industry, consumer goods, retail, agriculture, ТМТ, RE and other sectors.In 2011, Mr. Gikov received "Best M&A Deal in CEE" prize awarded to Raiffeisen Investment by the international EMEA Finance magazinefor consulting a EUR 545 million deal in the energy sector in Bulgaria.
Prior to that, as part of KPMG’s Financial Services team, Julian has worked on assurance and corporate finance projects including audit, due diligence, IPOs and securitizations in various industries with focus on financial institutions. Before that, Julian also gained working experience at UBS, London - Investment Banking and Fixed Income divisions and at Ernst & Young, Stuttgart - Corporate Finance Dpt. where he was involved in large M&A and squeeze-outs transactions and enterprise valuations. He has internship at Bloomberg, London.
Mr. Gikov has specialized in banking at London School of Economics. Prior to that, he obtained an MBA degree from SIU in Germany and USA, and has a Bachelor in Financial Management & Accounting from The Buckingham University in the UK. He is also PhD in Economics.
Kiril Ivanov is a Director at Entrea Capital and focuses on deal origination and overall management of execution processes across all industry sectors. Kiril has more than 7 years of M&A experience in Bulgaria.
Before joining Entrea Capital in 2013, Kiril worked at Raiffeisen Investment, where he was covering the energy sector and was involved in a number of transactions. He was advising both local and foreign investors, including the RWE joint venture with NEK on the construction of NPP Belene, the Contour Global acquisition of TPP Maritsa East III from Enel, the sale of the leading local mobile phones retail chain 2be, among others.
Prior to that he worked for 2 years at Harrison Trading INC based in Chicago IL, USA, performing fixed income analysis and trading in derivatives and futures instruments. He has also worked as a Market Maker on the Chicago Board of Options Exchange for 3 years at Cornerstone Partners.
Kiril holds an MBA with concentration in International Business and Finance and BSc in Marketing from the Stuart School of Business at the Illinois Institute of Technology in Chicago.
Ilko Stoyanov is a local partner of Schoenherr in Sofia, where he specialises in Corporate, M&A and Competition Law.
Ilko has graduated in law from the Sofia University and has an LL.M. degree from the Columbia Law School.
Ilko regularly acts for clients on multinational acquisitions and corporate restructurings in the telecom, technology, insurance, manufacturing and energy industries. Ilko is speaker on conferences regarding foreign investments and author of publications in the field of the mergers and acquisitions in Bulgaria (The International Comparative Legal Guide to: Mergers & Acquisition (Global Legal Group, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011).

Gavin Hill is Partner Financial Advisory at Deloitte Bulgaria.
Gavin Hill is starting his 34th year in the profession, including 5 years in Industry at a senior level, then becoming a partner in 1991. He is a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales, member of the Corporate Finance Institute and Member of the Institute of Management. He now lives in Sofia having lived (with his wife and family) and worked in Central Europe since 1999, working with clients in more than 15 countries during that time, covering most industries with an emphasis on Financial Services, Real Estate & TMT Sectors. He has also been involved in most major M&A banking transactions in Central Europe either for a potential buyer or seller. He is responsible for the leadership development programme for Senior managers in Deloitte Central Europe.
Gavin joins the partners in Sofia to lead Deloitte’s advisory practice.
Todor Todorov is Director Financial Advisory at Deloitte Bulgaria.
Todor started his career as an investment banker in the New York office of J.P. Morgan in the M&A department of the bank. Four years later he co-founded a small hedge fund investing in U.S. equities and derivative products.
Over the last 7 years Todor has been advising Bulgarian companies and locally present multinationals in business combinations, capital raising and restructuring projects. Todor is currently part of the financial advisory team in Deloitte Central Europe and is responsible for the M&A advisory business in Bulgaria.
In his career Todor contributed to the successful execution of transactions with an aggregate value in excess of €4bln.

Valeri Petrov is Partner at Bancroft Private Equity covering the company’s activities on the Balkans. Before joining Bancroft he was Investment Director with the private equity firm Global Finance, running the company’s activities in Bulgaria. Valeri led and co-led many transactions in different countries across the SEE region.
Prior to moving to the Private Equity industry Valeri was running the biggest paints& coatings company in Bulgaria (backed by private equity funds) as CEO where he did a complete turnaround bringing the company up to high profit levels and increasing its market capitalization almost ten times.
Valeri also worked for the Royal Dutch/Shell, and held various positions within the organisation.
Valeri holds an MSc in Engineering from the Technical University of Sofia. He also attended Management Academy in London and ETP on Business Management in Delaware University, Sofia branch.

The London-based private equity investor and sole-shareholder of Max Telecom, Daniel Kupsin holds a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from Touro Law School, Long Island, New York State, USA as well as BS in Finance & Business Administration from American University, Kogod School of Business, Washington DC, USA.
Mr. Kupsin has a background in investment banking and brokerage, and a successful track record in entrepreneurship. He was the founding partner and CEO of United Media Group (2005-2009): Moscow News, Business FM, BFM.RU, Kino FM, etc, one of the leading Russian media groups, which was successfully sold to NLMK Group in the summer of 2009.
Since 2009 to 2011 Daniel Kupsin was the Chairman of the Board of directors of AnviLab Group, St Petersburg - Moscow, Russia, Pharmaceutical manufacturer and marketer, established in 1997, was successfully sold to Protek Group in 2011.
Since 2011 Kupsin has a successful track of record operating in the field of private equity investment.
William Wells oversees Rothschild’s business throughout Central & South-Eastern Europe.
He joined Rothschild in 2006 and has specialised in the developing markets of Central & South-eastern Europe since the early 1990s. He has worked extensively with governments, public sector entities, international investors and domestic corporates on privatisations, M&A, disposals, capital restructuring and fund-raisings.
Prior to this he worked on a number of the major UK privatisations and corporate deals of the late 1980s.
He first worked in Bulgaria in 1992, advising British-American Tobacco on its early interest in Bulgartabak. Subsequently, he has advised on a number of inward investments and disposals in Bulgaria, either standalone or as part of regional opportunities.
He was educated at Oxford and the London Business School. Prior to entering investment banking he was a professional soldier.
Niklas has more than fourteen years of experience in investment banking in Central and Eastern Europe.
Niklas is Managing Director with Mezzanine Management and heads the transaction team of the Viennese headquarters. He served/serves on numerous supervisory boards including Devin, Bella, EuroIns and Carrefour Slovakia.
Before joining Mezzanine Management in 2005, he worked for Vienna Capital Partners ("VCP"), a leading independent investment and advisory company in Central and Eastern Europe as well as for a number of reputable advisory houses.
Niklas holds a Masters degree from the University of Business Administration in Vienna and has pursued study programs in the US.

Pavlin Petkov joined Axxess Capital in 2007 and is currently the Managing Director for Bulgaria. He has led the acquisition, restructuring and sale of companies in South East Europe. Axxess Capital manages three private equity funds with assets of more than EUR 250 million.
Before joining Axxess Capital Pavlin was Regional Manager at Allianz in Germany where he was responsible for the business in South East Europe. From 2005 he was Portfolio Manager of mutual funds for Allianz in Italy. Immediately after obtaining his MBA degree from Wharton Business School he joined the Investment Banking Division of Lehman Brothers in the UK. Pavlin started his career in PricewaterhouseCoopers in Bulgaria. He holds the professional qualifications ACCA and CFA.
Richard Golden has been Executive Director at Raiffeisen Investment since 2008. He is also co-heading the Industrials Team at Raiffeisen Centrobank.
Prior to joining Raiffeisen Investment, Mr. Golden has been Head of M&A CEE at Commerzbank AG. His other previous positions include PWC Poland, where he was Director from 2000 to 2001, Creditanstalt Financial Advisers S.A. - Managing Director from 1994 till 1999, and Creditanstalt Investment Bank (CAIB) – Director from 1992 to 1994.
Mr. Golden has a master's degree in International Affairs, Finance and Western European Studies, from the School of International and Public Affairs of Columbia University, and a bachelor's degree in International Affairs from Lafayette College.
Svetoslav Stefanov, 6+ years investment experience (alternative investments, hedge funds) as well as 6+ years of consulting and operational background. He is currently Investment Manager with 3TS Capital, a leading TMT growth capital investor, with focus on Central & Eastern Europe.
Before 3TS, Mr. Stefanov worked for the Monaco office of Trafalgar Asset Managers, a top-3 European event-driven hedge fund, on catalyst investments, special situations and fundamental value deals across different geographies and sectors, with personal focus on technology.
Before Trafalgar, he co-founded a small fund focused on German small/mid caps, with significant exposure to technology. Mr. Stefanov served also an internship with 3i Venture Capital at the Information- and Communication- Technologies team in Munich.
Mr. Stefanov holds a BSc in Management Information Systems from the University of National and World Economy, Sofia, Bulgaria and MBA from INSEAD. he is fluent in English, German, Russian, Bulgarian, good level of French and basic Italian.
Victor Karadjov is a Director of Raiffeisen Centrobank in Vienna and heads the TMT and Financial Sponsors team. The main focus of the team is the M&A advisory of private equity clients as well as large and mid-sized telecom operators and cable companies in the wider CEE region (CEE & CIS), Austria and Turkey.
Prior to joining Raiffeisen in 2011, Victor spent more than 7 years working in investment banking and restructuring in London with a strong focus on the TMT sector in CEE. During that time he also advised a variety of investors on some of the most notable transaction in this sector in Bulgaria – buy-out of BTC/Vivacom from Novator, buy-out of Nova TV from Antenna Group and buy-out of bTV from News Corp.
Before moving to London, Victor gained working experience at Deutsche Bank in Frankfurt where he started his career as part of the mid-cap investment banking team.
He holds a Masters degree in International Management from the Berlin University of Applied Sciences and a Bachelor degree in International Economic Relations from the University of National and World Economy in Sofia.
Stilian Shishkov is founder and CEO of one the largest Internet media groups in Bulgaria - Sportal Media Group. Currently Sportal owns and operates 40 internet portals, including sportal.bg, footballscout.com, sport.net, profit.bg, zdrave.bg, etc.
Prior to founding Sportal, Mr. Shishkov was CEO at Internet media company MSK Group (2008 – 2011). From November 2001 till december 2007, he was executive director at Atlanta Silverbacks, a professional soccer organization in Atlanta, USA. From January 2000 till November 2001 Mr. Shishkov was Director of Business Development at U.S. Ultrabrowser Inc., where he was in charge of the company's strategic partnerships and brand development.
Mr. Shishkov speaks Bulgarian, English and Russian. He has a bachelor's degree in Marketing from The Lander University in South Carolina, USA.
Didier Stössel is CEO of Nova Broadcasting Group since August 2012.
He has previously been deputy chairman of the board of directors and executive director of the British company Apace media, which in 2006 became the majority owner of two Bulgarian media companies - Diema Vision and MMTV and has thus included in its portfolio six television channels in Bulgaria.
Before turning to the media, Didier Stössel has worked in the banking industry and has been CEO of the investment banking division of HSBC, the second largest bank in the world.

Between 1998 and 2002 and worked for Caresbac Trans Balkan Fund, but by the end of 2002 joined the Global Finance as an investment manager.
He has participated in the acquisition of several companies from the Global Bulgaria & Romania Growth Fund and the Global South Eastern Europe Fund in Bulgaria, Romania, Greece and other countries in the region and in the successful sales of companies in which funds hold shares.
Ivo graduated from the Economics Faculty of Sofia University and has over ten years experience in equity investments.
Stanislav has been part of LAUNCHub, where he serves as a portfolio manager and scouts for startups, since June 2012.
He has more than 10 years financial industry experience with executive roles in business development, risk and operational management.
He also participated in a number of trainings on finance and business planning and evaluations of business plans and financial reports. Stanislav is passionate on new businesses and projects development and loves to work with start-ups.
He holds a master's degree in information technology from the University of National and World Economy (UNWE) in Sofia.
Boyan Ivanov is Managing Partner at StorPool.
He has held a number of positions in finance, and he has also been a consultant of various companies.
His expertise is focused in the areas of finance, management and business development. Before StorPool Boyan was financial analyst at the headquarters of the Dutch bank ABN AMRO, and co-founder of two companies.
Boyan has a master's degree in Industrial Management from the Technical University of Sofia and a second master's degree in Finance from the BAS, as well as many additional qualifications.

Miroslav Stefanov is financial analyst at SI Finance Group Ltd. where he is responsible for credit risk assessment, advanced financial modeling and SF forecasting, complex financial ratios calculation and analysis, IFRS accounting and compliance interpretation, Loan and structured products recommendations and implementation and more. Miroslav has MSc in Business Economics, Finance and Banking from the University of Portsmouth in UK, graduated with First Class Honours and BA in International Finance and Trade from the University of Portsmouth (the University of Portsmouth program in Bulgaria), graduated with Distinction.
