City Talk Urban Mobility

In the context of the modern development of cities, Sofia and most major cities in Bulgaria need a new strategy for urban lighting. In a bid to help the topic gain publicity and to look for possible solutions for development, "Capital" is organizing City Talk: Lighting.

Audience: representatives of companies offering technologies and smart solutions, representatives of the Municipality of Sofia, representative of Ulichno Osvetlenie Jsc Sofia, representative of a European municipality, representative of a municipality in Bulgaria with a successful practice, consultants

Focus in the agenda:
Why is street lighting important?
What is the condition of street lighting now?
How does the lighting system in the major European cities function?
How much does it cost? Who is investing? What is the administration system like?
Why does street lighting need a master plan?
What are the contemporary technologies and what are their benefits?

Format:
5 to 7 key participants and a moderator
The discussion will be recorded on video and the highlights will be presented on the website of Capital
The basic ideas and suggestions from the conversation will be visualised through infographics, short interviews and debates
About 30 to 50 specially selected and invited guests will actively participate in the discussion
