Robert Stussi Robert Stussi

Robert Stüssi is an urban and regional planner, specialized in transport policy and planning, and sustainable mobility. Currently he is the President of the Portuguese Electric Vehicle Association.
Stüssi is also past President (2007-2011) and Vice President (2004-2007) of the European Association for Battery, Hybrid and Fuel Cell Electric Road Vehicles (AVERE) and past President and VP of the World Electric Vehicle Association.
Robert Stüssi has a long career with professional experience as free lance consultant and manager of various companies. He has research and teaching experience at several universities and training courses. Stüssi has also been an advisor to government and regional and local authorities, team or consortium leader and project director, responsible for the management of projects and studies financed by different countries and international agencies. Robert Stüssi has working experience in Canada, Europe, Africa and Latin America.
Stüssi's recent priorities include: advising cities on new mobility concerns and the introduction of soft and complementary modes: walking, bicycling, traffic calming, car sharing and pooling, demand responsive transport and on the introduction of alternative vehicle and fuel technologies, having directed a 25 city two and a half year demonstration program with two electric mini buses. Member of CIVITAS Plus MODERN – Coimbra project.
Robert Stüssi is B.Sc. in Civil Engineering, Major in Transportation Planning from Swiss national Institute of Technology in Zurich and Master of Science in Planning from University of British Columbia.

Stüssi is frequent organizer, moderator and speaker in national and international conferences.

Director Environmental Affairs & Corporate Citizenship of Toyota Motor Europe

Willy Tomboy is a leading figure at Toyota Motor Europe. His main challenges are to keep environment on the agenda of the Company and to ensure that actions are taken to reduce environmental impact of the activities of Toyota in all Europe.
Some main areas covered by Mr. Tomboy are: Climate Change, C02 company footprint, Emissions Trading, Life Cycle Thinking, Chemical Regulations, Environmental Management System ISO140O1, Recycling of Resources, and Sustainability Reporting.

In Bulgaria Willy Tomboy was one of the key speakers at the Green Innovation Forum 2009, and his presentation was entitled "Environment is not fashion, it is a business case".

Willy Tomboy has worked in the automotive industry in Belgium, Germany, Canada, and the USA. He has a Masters degree in Economics and Environmental Management.

Vitaly Belskiy is an automotive consultant at Frost & Sullivan. He has been involved in multiple strategic projects supporting leading automotive OEMs, Tier I suppliers and other market participants globally on developing actionable strategies and recommendations. He has graduated from a Warsaw School of Economics with a Master's Degree in Finance and Banking and Bachelor's Degree in International Relations.

Kamen Vasilev Kamen Vasilev

Kamen Vasilev has been working since 1998 in projects for environemntal rehabilitation, infrastructure deployment, construction and real estate management. His track record includes work at Umicore Med, Electron Progress and Montecanal Bulgaria. Since the beginning of 2010, Kamen is developing business plans for electric vehicles integration in everyday use. He is a member of the Bulgarian Electric Vehicles Association (BAEPS), actively involved in its initiaitves and projects.
 

Didier Maginedes Didier Maginedes

Didier Marginedes is graduated from " Ecole Superieure d’Electricite " in 1978, he has a Master of Sciences from Berkeley University (USA) obtained in 1979 and an Executive MBA from INSEAD (1989).
After a first experience within Aerospatiale, he joined  Schlumberger (81-86) to lead the development of signal processing for logging tools. He then worked for Air Liquide (86-95) where he was in charge of the development of energy-related businesses and of strategic marketing. In 1995, he joined Bolloré as R&D Director where he managed the development strategy including competitive analysis and new products development. In 2001, Didier Marginedes added the function of General Manager of a new subsidy of Bolloré group: Batscap whose objectives are the development and sales of energy storage products such as batteries and supercapacitors. These products are mainly dedicated to clean energy transportation markets such as Electric Vehicle (Bluecar), electric bus (microbus), hybrid vehicles and clean tram system with energy recovery. He is chairman of Gruau Microbus and in charge of Energy Division.

Yulian Nikolov

Director Economic policy, Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism

Julian Nikolov graduated from the MBA program of Harvard Business School in 2005.  During the period 2005-2009 he started and managed several companies in Bulgaria.  Since November 2009 he has been the head of the Economic Policy Directorate at the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism and in this capacity has been responsible for the policy towards: innovation, entrepreneurship, business environment, industrial policy and investments.  Mr. Nikolov is also a lecturer at Sofia University, where he is teaching two courses on economic development.

Ales Hofferek Ales Hofferek

Ales Hoferek is Manager Aftersales in BMW Group Bulgaria. He has more than 11 years long experience as manager in the fields of technical advice and service in automotive industry. He has worked for BMW Group in Bulgarian and the Check Republic, and also for Honda and Ford brands. Mr. Hoferek has graduated from the Czech Technical University in Prague with a major Engine Powered Vehicles.


In his presentation Mr. Hoferek will explain the BMW Group strategy of a leader in the establishment of new era for the electric mobility which includes the market introduction of purpose built electric vehicles with new vehicle architecture and use of innovative materials, which meet in the best way consumer needs and requirements. He will present the new BMWi sub-brand philosophy, as well as the vision of the company for the introduction of innovative services related to mobility.
