By posting comments, you are deemed to have read and agreed to the Economedia terms and conditions. Economedia is not responsible for the content of readers' opinions, nor their veracity or usefulness.
Publishing comments
To publish a comment on The Sofia Echo, Dnevnik.bg, Capital.bg, Karieri.bg, Regal.bg, Horemag.bg or Bacchus.bg a registration in id.capital.bg is needed. To publish a comment on odit.info a registration in the site is needed. Registrations are free.
Readers have the right to comment on content and reply to opinions of other users. Due to repeated misuse of the facility to post links to external sites, this has been disabled on The Sofia Echo website, but is available on other Economedia websites. On Dnevnik, Capital and Karieri websites, users can also show their agreement or disagreement with other posts by using the "+" and "-" buttons. Only one vote is given for each IP address.
Readers can notify forum moderators of comments that violate this acceptable user policy by clicking the "report comment" button. Forum moderators will prioritise reviewing such complaints.
Privacy limitations
In their comments, name, avatar and all other settings of their profile, users are forbidden from:
- impersonating other users by using the name, avatar or signature of another user
- misrepresenting themselves as specific public figures by using their name or image in their profile
Moderating comments and banning policy
Site moderators have the right to hide or delete posts that contain:
- spam or unsolicited commercial messages
- off-topic comments unrelated to the subject of the story
- obscene or vulgar texts, including national and racial insults, sexual, ethnic or religious obscenities and abusive ad hominem and/or defamatory attacks on any individual or corporate entity
- incitement to racial discrimination, ethnic and religious intolerance, sexual discrimination or violence
- insulting descriptions regarding physical, intellectual or moral qualities of particular individuals
- pornographic content or content that violates copyright laws
- disclosure of personal data protected by the Personal Data Protection Act
- comments written entirely in a language other than English or Bulgarian (The Sofia Echo) or Bulgarian (all other Economedia websites)
- comments written entirely in capital letters
Members whose posts repeatedly contain one or more of the above, may be barred - temporarily or permanently - from publishing their opinions on all Economedia sites. Moderators retain the right to delete new accounts suspected to belong to users already banned.
Moderators may not:
- change the text of a comment
- hide, close or delete topics, comments or parts of comments, if they do not contain any of the above types of content
- give personal opinions or express a bias towards certain users or topics

Corporate complaints concerning comments posted on Karieri and Regal
Any company, upon providing proof of identity, can demand the removal of comments under stories published in Karieri and Regal, discussing the company in question or its employees.
Moderators retain the final decision rights about whether comments will be moderated, locked or deleted. Should that occur, the reason for moderation will be explicitly pointed out.
