Fourth annual SEE energy conference"The New Energy Strategy: Competitiveness, Sustainability, Efficiency" 2010
Capital Weekly is organizing 4th annual energy conference on the 23rd of February, 2010 in Sheraton hotel, Sofia.
The event will be held under the patronage of the World Bank and the Ministry of Economy, Energy and Tourism of Bulgaria.
This year the theme of the conference will be The New Energy Strategy of Bulgaria: Competitiveness, Sustainability, Efficiency.

The Bulgarian energy strategy needs a complete overhaul in order to respond to new opportunities and challenges, including EU priorities for energy and climate. Bulgaria needs a modern strategy for developing a low-carbon energy sector in support of policies to combat climate change, stimulate energy efficiency and reduce fossil fuel consumption.
Some of the strategic priorities of Bulgaria and the EU are:
- Sustainable development through combating the negative climate changes.
- Security of supplies by limiting the EU external dependence on imported energy sources and providing diversification of the energy mix.
- Development of a Common European Energy Market.
Participation fee for 1 delegate - 92 euro incl.20% VAT
Participation fee for 2 or more delegates - 67,50 euro incl. 20% VAT per delegate
